Good news at last for all those waiting for the chance to win Paški Sir 05227, is finally ready for release so the comp is officially open.
We’ve been following this particular wheel all the way through from milking the Pag sheep with the local farmers, right through production at Sirana Gligora and and in the curing room where the skilled staff have been tenderly turning, washing and oiling this and many other wheels of cheese to encourage perfect development. I’ve just come back from the curing room where Marin was kind enough to get our cheese ready for the camera and gave it one last wash before release.
Marin and all the affinures have done an excellent job and to be honest we think Paški Sir 05227 is top grade. If we weren’t giving this wheel away then it would certainly be considered for competition.
And there we have it, after almost 4 months since our first blog in this series we have a wheel of our award winning artisan Paški Sir ready for one lucky reader and friends and family to enjoy.
To be in with a chance all you need to do is send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject heading FROM EWE TO YOU including your name, location and the name of a cheese store near you where you’d like to see Paški Sir on sale.
The comp will close at 10am on the 3rd June after which we’ll ask the master cheese maker Mr Ivan Gligora to select a winner at random.
